The One grew out of a practical task: helping technology companies find people who cannot be hired through mass-market methods. In work like this it is not enough to post a vacancy and wait for applications. You need to understand the engineering, product and management context, see the real career trajectories of specialists, speak the market’s language and translate a business need into a precise profile of a person.
We started as a recruitment agency with strong niche expertise, but from day one we worked beyond classic hiring. For us recruitment has never been just a search for candidates — it is a way to connect a business goal, the labour market, a person’s motivation and the future of a team into one precise decision.
Today The One develops as a group of companies and projects in recruitment, HR consulting, education and HR Tech — technologies for managing people, teams and HR decisions. We keep the expert depth we started with and turn it into a larger system: from precision hiring to team development, from consulting projects to educational programmes, from manual expertise to a product ecosystem.
The One was born as the HR service of a professional community for technology companies and gradually became an independent agency. That origin shaped our approach: we worked not with an abstract labour market but with living professional environments where trust, precision, subject-matter understanding and reputation are what count.
In the early years we focused on engineering, technical and IT roles for instrumentation, technology and science-intensive companies. We searched for engineers, developers, embedded specialists, electronics engineers, circuit designers, analysts, Data Science and Machine Learning specialists, and other rare profiles that are hard to find through the usual methods.
That period formed the foundation of The One: deep immersion in every vacancy, the ability to read the market, direct search, work with professional communities, motivation assessment and careful support of communication between company and candidate.
We learned to find people where standard recruitment often sees nothing but shortage. For us a “rare specialist” has never been just a CV: behind every role stood the context of a business, a team, a product and a future result.
Today The One develops as a group of companies and projects in recruitment, HR consulting, education and HR Tech. At the core remains strong hiring expertise for technology companies: we search for IT specialists, engineers, managers, executives, product and project managers, analysts, Data Science and Machine Learning specialists, DevOps/SRE, QA, information security and other highly qualified fields.
At the same time The One has already gone beyond classic recruitment. We help companies not only find people but make more precise people decisions: assess candidates and employees, strengthen teams, build communication, and design HR strategies, motivation systems, grading, KPIs, career tracks and development plans.
The group shows sustainable year-over-year revenue growth, expands its portfolio of practices and turns accumulated experience into products. Over the years the team has delivered hundreds of projects in rare-specialist hiring, HR consulting and team development. One logic unites these projects: we help businesses see people not as separate vacancies or CVs but as the systemic foundation of sustainable growth.
Inside The One grows our own recruitment school. The team’s practical experience becomes methodology: we teach recruiters to understand a vacancy more deeply, analyse the market, work with candidate motivation, see the logic of the business goal and build communication so that hiring becomes a managed process rather than a set of random actions.
In parallel the group develops science-intensive HR Tech startups. It is the natural next step: once expertise is accumulated, described and proven in hundreds of projects, it can and should be turned into products that help companies and specialists make more precise decisions.
