Founder of The One Recruitment · 8 years in IT recruitment
I started out as an in-house HR in a technology company. That's where I understood that closing complex IT roles is its own discipline: the market is choosy, candidates value their time, and companies often sell something different from what they actually have. That experience became the foundation of everything I do now.
I founded The One in 2019. Eight years in recruitment means a lot of contact: thousands of conversations with senior+ engineers, hundreds of closed roles, dozens of hiring funnels rebuilt in product and R&D teams of 50 to 300 people. That experience is what I write about in the blog — no jargon, real numbers, real cases.
I work with teams in Russia and CIS, as well as Russian-speaking IT diaspora in the EU (27 countries), UK, Israel, Cyprus, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey. Remote-first — most processes and candidates are distributed.
A few rules formed over eight years that I don't compromise on:

If you have a specific role, a process that needs fixing, or a question about the IT market — write to me. I'll respond honestly: what we can do, what we can't, and whether it makes sense to engage an agency in your case at all.
